Zoe Alsup got her start in gymnastics at just 15 months old in a mommy and me class at WOGA. Since then, Zoe has loved gymnastics and has never looked back! Zoe began competing in February 2015 as a seven year old level 3 with WOGA. At her first meet, the WOGA Classic, Zoe placed fifth on bars, beam, and floor. Zoe competed level 3 during the fall 2015 season and had a fantastic season. In the two meets leading up to the Texas North State Championships, Zoe won both all around titles as well as both bars titles and both beam titles. At the Texas North State Championships, Zoe had a phenomenal meet and won the bars, beam, floor, and all around titles with a huge 39.325.

As a level 4 during the 2016 season, Zoe won the vault and floor titles and placed second all around at the Texas North State Championships. Zoe moved on to the Texas State Championships where she earned a gold medal on beam, and silver medal on vault, and a bronze medal on floor. Zoe competed just two meets of level 5, both of which were in the Winter/Spring 2017 season. At her first level 5 meet, the Texas Prime Meet, Zoe won the vault title and took home second on beam and in the all around. Zoe competed her second and last level 5 meet at the WOGA Classic where she took third on beam and in the all around.

Zoe’s optional career began in January 2018 as a level 7 at the California Grand Invitational. Here, Zoe finished sixth on bars and seventh all around. Zoe continued to improve throughout the season and went on to win the beam and all around title as the Texas State Championships. From state, Zoe qualified to the Region 3 Championships. Here, Zoe closed her season and had another solid meet, winning the bars title and placing second all around as well as earning a bronze on beam.

Currently, Zoe trains 23 hours per week under coaches Sonia Sun and Adam Duncan at WOGA Gymnastics in Texas. Right now, Zoe is working on new skills and her goal is to make her aerial and layout step out on the high beam. In the future, Zoe hopes to earn a spot on the Paris 2024 Olympic team.
