The roster for the senior session of the GK U.S. Classic is stacked with some of the finest names on the elite stage.

Without a doubt the biggest name slated to compete is four time Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles (WCC). Fans all around the world are eagerly awaiting Biles return to competition to see if she is in better shape than she was in Rio. Biles said she plans to compete on all four events and will hopefully be showcasing a few new upgrades.

While Biles is expected to run away with the all-around title, there are a lot of other strong podium contenders (if they choose to do all-around). Reigning U.S. National Champion Ragan Smith (Texas Dreams) is one of the more experienced gymnasts in the field and can fare well in the standings if she does what she is capable of. Her teammate Emma Malabuyo will look to make a strong mark in her senior debut on US soil. Malabuyo won the all-around title in Jesolo earlier this year and should find herself among the top of the pack if she hits.

Reigning World All-Around Champion and 2018 American Cup champion Morgan Hurd (First State) has had quite a year since last year’s U.S. Classic. It will be interesting to see how she fares against a really strong field of competitors this year.

For the first time in her elite career, fans can expect to see Jade Carey (Arizona Sunrays) in the all-around standings. Carey, who won two silver medals at the 2017 World Championships, has added bars to her agenda which should provide an interesting shakeup to the all-around ranks. It will also be interesting to see how Carey’s vault and floor scores will hold up against Biles, as this will be the first time they compete together.

Other names to watch out for are, of course, Riley McCusker (MG Elite), Kara Eaker (GAGE), Grace McCallum (Twin City Twisters) and Jordan Chiles (Naydenov).
