Biography
Tali Heller got her start in gymnastics in mommy and me classes as a baby and loved being in the gym from the start. From mommy and me classes, Tali began taking classes as was invited to join the team program at Racine Gymnastics Center. Tali began competing in January 2020 as an Xcel Bronze. At her first meet, Tali won the bars title and finished third all around. Tali was able to compete two more meets in 2020 before her season was canceled due to COVID-19. At one of these meets, Tali won the vault, floor, and all around titles.
Tali began her 2021 Xcel Silver season at the Altius Pink Meet where she won the vault, bars, floor, and all around titles. In March at the Wisconsin State Championships, Tali finished in the top five on bars, beam, and in the all around. Tali concluded her season at the Region 4 Championships with a top 10 finish on bars.
Currently, Tali trains five hours per week under coach Jena at Racine Gymnastics Center. Tali's goal for her 2022 season is to win the all around at the Wisconsin State Championships and get her back tuck on the beam as well as her flyaway dismount off bars. In the future, Tali hopes to compete for a college gymnastics team.
