Sadie Hallmark got her start in gymnastics at the age of six after she was inspired by a friend who did gymnastics. Sadie loved being in the gym from the start and was eventually invited to join the team program at Above The Bar Gymnastics in Texas. Sadie began competing in January 2018 as an Xcel Bronze. At her first meet, the Chow's Challenge, Sadie won the vault, bars, floor, and all around titles. Sadie also won the all around title at her next meet. In May at the Texas South State Championships, Sadie won the vault title, the silver on bars, and the bronze in the all around with a 38.675.

Competing level 3 during the fall 2018 season, Sadie began her season at the Above the Bar District Qualifier. Here, Sadie came in third on bars. Six weeks later at the District Championships, Sadie earned a gold medal on floor, a silver in the all around, and the bronze on beam. From the District Championships, Sadie qualified to the Texas South State Championships where she concluded her level 3 season with a win on floor and top 10 finish on all other events and in the all around.

As a level 4 in 2019, Sadie kicked off her season at the Pearland Elite District Qualifier with a win on floor. In October at the District 6 Championships, Sadie came home with a gold medal on bars, silver medal on vault, and bronze medals on floor and in the all around. Sadie qualified for her second South State competition where she finished second on vault and third all around to qualify to the Texas State Championships. Sadie finished up her 2019 level 4 season at the Texas State Championships, earning silver medals on vault and in the all around. In December, Sadie tested out of level 5 at the Texas Classic where she won the vault, bars, beam, and all around titles.

Following her 2019 level 4 season, Sadie's family moved to Michigan and Sadie began training at Michigan Elite Gymnastics. As a level 6 during the 2020 season, Sadie began her season at the Bravo Classic where she came in sixth on bars. Sadie was able to compete two more meets in 2020 before the season was unfortunately canceled due to COVID-19. Sadie competed a second year of level 6 in 2021 and began her season at Battle of Champions. Here, Sadie finished third on bars and in the all around. Three months later at the Michigan State Championships, Sadie earned a gold medal on bars and finished in the top 5 on floor and in the all around.

Currently, Sadie trains 22 hours per week under coach Kim T at Michigan Elite Gymnastics. Sadie's goal for her 2022 season is to score a 38.00 in the all around as a level 7 and advance to level 8.
