Rhyley Pitts began gymnastics at the age of 4 after watching a gymnastics episode on Curious George and beginning to flip around the house. At the end of her first recreational season, Rhyley tried out for the pre-team at World Class Gymnastics.

In 2013, Rhyley began competing level 4. At the 2013 Illinois State Meet, Rhyley placed in the top 10 on vault, beam and floor. Rhyley repeated level 4 for the 2014 season and improved throughout the season and went on to place 3rd all around at the Illinois State Championships.

Rhyley skipped level 5 and began competing level 6 in the winter/spring of 2015. At her first meet of the season, Rhyley took home 4 gold medals and 1 silver medal. At the level 6 state championships, Rhyley won the beam and floor titles and took 4th all around. During the 2016 optional season, Rhyley competed one meet of level 7 where she won the all around. For the remainder of the season, Rhyley competed level 8 and went on to win the beam title at the Illinois State Championships. As a level 9 in 2017, Rhyley placed first on beam at the Region 5 Championships.

Rhyley began her 2018 level 10 season at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational where she placed fifth on beam. At the Illinois State Championships, Rhyley placed fifth on beam and sixth all around. Rhyley went on to compete at the Region 5 Championships; she had a great meet earning the silver medal on beam and placing seventh all around, qualifying to represent Region 5 at the JO National Championships. Rhyley had the best meet of her season at JO Nationals and came home with the bronze medal on beam.

Currently, Rhyley trains 20 hours per week at World Class Gymnastics under coaches Patrick, Donna, and Laura.
