Reagan Terry got her start in gymnastics at the age of two. She went into the gym every day with her mom who is an Xcel gymnastics coach, so it was natural that she would begin gymnastics classes. Reagan excelled quickly in her classes and was invited into the team program at the age of five. Reagan began competing Xcel Silver in spring 2013 and won the bars title and took second on beam and in the all around at the Utah Sate Championships. Reagan then moved on to the Region 1 Championships where she won the vault title and took second all around.
In 2014, Reagan competed one meet as an Xcel Gold, and then competed Xcel Platinum during the spring 2015 season. Reagan had a great season and went on to win the bars, beam, floor, and all around titles at the Utah State Championships. Then at the Region 1 Championships, Reagan finished in the top 10 on floor.
Reagan began competing in the JO program beginning January 2016 as a level 7. At her first meet, Think Pink, Reagan won the bars, floor, and all around titles. Reagan finished her season at the Utah State Championships where she finished in the top 10 on beam and floor.
Reagan competed a second season of level 7 during the 2017 season and opened up her season at the Vegas Cup where she finished fifth on bars. Reagan improved throughout the season and earned second on vault at the Utah State Championships. Reagan had another great meet at the Region 1 Championships where she finished fifth on vault and beam.
As a level 8 in 2018, Reagan began her season at the Chris Waller's Heart Of A Champion Invitational. Here, Reagan placed fifth on bars, floor, and in the all around. At the Utah State Championships, Reagan had a solid meet and qualified to the Region 1 Championships where she finished second on floor.
Reagan kicked off her 2019 level 8 season at Great Destinations - California where she took second on floor. Less than two months later in March, Reagan competed at the Utah State Championships where she had a fantastic meet, taking first on floor and in the all around, second on beam, and third on vault and bars.
Currently, Reagan trains 25 hours per week at Champion Gymnastics under coaches Jeremey Graff and Erika Almandinger. Reagan's goal for the 2019 season is to score a 38.00 in the all around and earn a spot on the Utah State Team. In the future, Reagan hopes to earn a scholarship to LSU.
