The Minnesota Gophers won the quad meet against Hamline, Winona State, and Gustavus Adolphus Saturday evening at home. The Gopshers had a fantastic meet, winning the competition by over ten points.

Minnesota started on vault where they posted three scored at and above 9.800 from Ona Loper, Lexy Ramler, and Paige Williams. The Gophers posted a 48.800 on vault and then headed to the uneven bars where they had their best rotation scoring a team total of a 49.125. Ramler, posting a 9.900 and Ivy Lu, posting a 9.925 helped the Gophers post this fantastic score.

Over on beam, Minnesota had another solid rotation with a 9.925 from Ramler and a 9.825 from Tiarre Sales, helping the team score a 48.950 on beam. Without surprise, the Gophers lead going into the final rotation: floor. Ramler continued her success throughout the night, hitting her routine for a 9.850. The Gophers closed with a 48.725 on floor and a 195.600 total.

Hamline, coming in second, had its best event on vault. Rosie Giese posted the team’s highest score on vault with a 9.425, and Nikki Johnsen was not far behind with a 9.400.

Winona State, which came in third, also had its best event on vault with Kennedy Utz scoring a 9.450. Utz also had a strong performance on floor for a 9.500.

Gustavus Adolphus had two all arounders in the competition: Samantha Ardy and Amanda Malo. Malo had her best performance on floor for a 9.325, and finished with a 36.600 in the all around. Ardy posted her highest score on vault for a 9.450 and finished the competition with a 35.200.

In the final event results, Minnesota’s Paige Williams and Ona Loper tied for the vault title with a 9.825. On bars, Minnesota’s Ivy Lu took the title with a 9.925. Minnesota’s Lexy Ramler won both the beam and floor titles with scores of 9.925 and 9.850, respectively, as well as the all around with a 39.475.
