Meagan Costello got her start in gymnastics at the age of three at a tumble gymnastics gym. Meagan loved being in the gym from the start and was eventually invited to join the team program at The Gymnastics Revolution.

Meagan began competing in January 2016 as an Xcel Bronze. At her first meet, the Sand Dollar Invitational, Meagan came in fourth on bars and beam and fifth all around. In February at the Gasparilla Classic, Meagan had a great meet, winning the bars, beam, and all around titles. Two months later at the Florida State Championships, Meagan finished sixth on vault, bars, and in the all around.

As an Xcel Silver during the 2016-2017 season, Meagan began her season at the Atlantis Crown Invitational. Here, Meagan won the bars title and came in third on vault, beam, and in the all around. At her next two meets, Meagan won the all around title. In April at the Florida State Championships, Meagan came home with the floor title, a silver medal on beam, and a fourth place finish on vault and in the all around.

Competing Xcel Gold in 2018, Meagan kicked off her season at the Daytona Beach Open where she finished second on bars and fifth all around. Meagan continued to improve over the season and went on to win the bars title and finish fourth all around at the Florida State Championships. From state, Meagan advanced to the Region 8 Championships where she concluded her season with a fourth place finish on bars.

Following her 2018 Xcel Gold season, Meagan switch from the Xcel program to the Developmental program. Meagan began competing as a level 7 in January 2019. At her first meet, the Sand Dollar Invitational, Meagan finished eighth on beam. Two months later at the Florida State Championships, Meagan came home with a bronze medal on bars.

Meagan began her 2020 level 8 season at the Critique Classic where she came home with a silver medal on bars. Meagan was able to compete two more meet before the remainder of the season was canceled due to COVID-19. At both of her remaining meets, Meagan finished in the top three on bars. Meagan competed a second year of level 8 during the 2021 season at began her season at the Sand Dollar Invitational where she finished third on bars. Meagan continued to have great success on bars throughout the season and in February at the Gasparilla Classic, Meagan came in second on bars with a 9.500. In March at the Florida State Championships, Meagan earned a bronze medal on bars.

Currently, Meagan trains 25 hours per week under coaches Mariellen and Joseph Wagner at The Gymnastics Revolution. Meagan's goal for her 2022 season is to score a perfect 10.0 on bars. In the future, Meagan hopes to compete level 10.
