Madison Griffin got her start in gymnastics at the age of five after her mom noticed she was having fun doing cartwheels and wanted to see where gymnastics would take Madison. Madison loved being in the gym from the start and was soon after invited to join the team program at WOGA.
Madison began competing in February 2021 as a level 2. At her first meet, the WOGA Classic, Madison came in sixth on vault. Madison competed her second and final level 2 meet at the Rose City Classic where she finished in the top five on vault, beam, floor, and in the all around.
Madison began her fall 2021 season as a level 3 at the Texas Challenge. Here, she came in fourth on bars and floor. Madison progressed throughout her season qualifying her to the Texas District Championships where she won a bronze medal on bars. Madison concluded her season at the Texas North State Championships winning bronze on bars and finishing top 10 all around.
Currently, Madison trains 15 hours per week under coach Evgeniya at WOGA. Madison's goal for her 2021-2022 level 3 season is to earn first place on every event. In the future, Madison hopes to represent Team USA at the Olympics.
