Liselle Earnest got her start in gymnastics at the age of four in recreational classes and loved being in the gym right away. Liselle began competing in the fall of 2017 as a level 3 with Rodina Elite Gymnastics. In her first season of competitive gymnastics, Liselle finished in the top 5 on vault at the NorCal North State Championships.
As a level 4 in 2018, Liselle began her season at the Miyagi Gold Country Classic where she took fifth on beam. In November at the NorCal State Championships, Liselle finished in the top 10 on bars and floor.
Liselle began her 2019 level 5 season at the Go Green Invitational and finished fourth on bars. Liselle improved throughout the season and went on to finish in the top 10 on vault, bars, floor, and in the all around at the NorCal State Championships.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Liselle was unable to compete most of the 2021 season. In fact, Liselle's first and last level 6 meet of the 2021 season was the Region 1 Championships. However, Liselle still had a strong competition and even walked away with a gold medal on vault.
Currently, Liselle trains 16 hours per week under coach Yulia Rodina at Rodina Elite Gymnastics. Liselle's goal for the off season and into the next season is to improve on beam. In the future, Liselle hopes to earn a college scholarship for gymnastics.
