Chloé Malot got her start in gymnastics at the age of four as she was also jumping and tumbling on the couches, so her parents put her in a preschool gymnastics class. Chloé loved gymnastics from the start and progressed her way through preschool classes, recreational classes, and was eventually invited to join the team program at Gold Medal Gymnastics Center.
Chloé began competing in January 2020 as a level 4. At her first meet, New Year Celebration, Chloé came in second on vault and bars as well as third on beam and in the all around. Chloé was able to compete two more meets, the Manhattan Classic and the Gold Medal Invitational, before the season was canceled due to COVID-19.
Competing level 5 in 2021, Chloé kicked off her season at the New Year Celebration meet where she won the beam title and came in fourth all around. Chloé had her best meet of her season at the Springtime Classic. Here, Chloé won the floor and all around titles and earned silver medals on bars and beam. One month later at the New York Downstate Championships, Chloé came in the top 10 on bars, concluding a great season.
Chloe kicked off her 2021-2022 season as a level 6 at the Big Apple Holiday Classic earning a silver medal on bars. She then competed at the Christmas on the Chesapeake meet where she won bars, floor, and all around. A month later Chloe competed at Hill's Maryland Classic winning silver medals on bars and in the all around and bronze on floor. In February she competed her first level 7 meet where she placed top 10 all around.
Currently, Chloé trains 25 hours per week under coaches Stephanie, Kai, Henry and Dina at LI Elite Gymnastics. Chloé's goal for her 2022 season is to score some 9.0s and score a 37.00 in the all around. In the future, Chloé hopes to earn a spot on a college gymnastics team.
