Aurora began gymnastics at the age of three at Oroville Gymnastics and was moved up to pre-team at age four. At age five, Aurora was moved up to team and began competing level 3 in the fall of 2015 at six years old.
At her second meet as a level 3, Aurora won the floor title at the Miyagi Gold Country Classic with a 9.425. Throughout the level 3 season, Aurora continued to improve and she won the floor title at the 2015 NorCal Level 3 North State Championships. Aurora began competing level 4 in August of 2016 and placed third on floor at her first meet, the NorCal NAWGJ Judges Cup. Aurora’s success on floor continued throughout her level 4 season, placing in the top 3 on floor at every meet. At the 2016 NorCal Level 4 State Championships, Aurora placed in the top 5 on beam and top 3 on floor.
Aurora opened up her 2017 level 5 season at the NorCal Judges' Cup where she won the floor title and placed fourth all around. Aurora continued to have a successful level 5 season and went on to place fifth all around at the NorCal State Championships.
Aurora's optional career began in February 2019 at the Napa Valley Invitational. As a level 7, Aurora won the floor title with a 9.800. One month later, Aurora competed at the NorCal State Championships where she took home silver medals on vault, bars, beam, and in the all around and placed third on floor. Aurora also qualified to represent Team NorCal at the Region 1 Championships. Aurora concluded her season at the Region 1 Championships where she had a great meet, taking second on beam with a 9.875 and seventh all around.
Currently, Aurora trains 17 hours a week under coaches Yulia and Eduard at Rodina Elite Gymnastics. In the future, Aurora hopes to someday earn a college scholarship to UCLA.
