Biography
Arabella Diaz got her start in gymnastics at the age of four in recreational classes and shortly after was invited to join pre-team. From pre-team, Arabella was invited to join the team program at Elite Gymnastics Academy at the age of six.
Arabella began competing in November 2019 as an Xcel Bronze. Arabella was able to compete three more meets before the season was unfortunately canceled due to COVID-19. Arabella had her best meteor her season at the LaFleur's Florida Classic where she won the vault title and came in second in the all around.
During the 2021 season, Arabella competed one meet of Xcel Silver and then went on to compete Xcel Gold during the remainder of the season. At her first Xcel Gold meet, the Magical Classic, Arabella won the beam title with a 9.550. Two months later at the Florida State Championships, Arabella finished in the top 5 on vault, floor, and in the all around. From state, Arabella qualified to the Region 8 Championships where she concluded her season with a third place finish on beam. She then competed a level 4 meet where she won beam and bronze medals on beam and AA.
In 2022 Arabella started her season as a level 6 at the Dolphin Classic where she esrned a bronze medal on bars.
Currently, Arabella trains 18 hours per week under coaches Andreina and Manuel at Elite Gymnastics Academy. Arabella's goal for next season is to win first all around at a meet. In the future, Arabella hopes to represent Team USA at the Olympics.
