Amanda Albee got started in gymnastics at the age of four because she had so much energy; she began to excel in the sport and began competing as a level 4 during the 2013 season with Academy West Gymnastics. At her first state meet, Amanda took home the silver on vault and floor, and was crowned the state champion on bars, beam, and in the all around. After the 2014 level 4 season, Amanda moved to Olympus Gymnastics and skipped level 5.

Amanda competed level 7 during the 2015 season where she won the bronze medal on vault and beam at the Utah State Championships; Amanda also qualified to the 2015 Region 1 Championships. At Regionals, Amanda finished in the top 10 on vault. In 2016 as a level 8, Amanda finished third on vault at State, and seventh on floor at regionals. Amanda repeated level 8 for the 2017 season and had a great state meet placing third on beam and floor, second in the all around, and taking home the vault title. At Regionals, Amanda was a part of the Utah State Team and placed seventh on vault.

As a level 9 in 2018, Amanda opened her season at the Rocky Mountain Invitational where she finished first on bars and fourth all around. Throughout the season, Amanda continued to improve her all around score and finished fifth on bars at the Utah State Championships and qualified for regionals. At regionals, Amanda finished tenth all around.

Amanda competed a second season of level 9 in 2019 and began her season at the Lady Luck Invitational where she had a great meet, winning the floor title, taking second on beam, and third on bars and in the all around. Amanda continued to have a solid season and concluded her season at the Utah State Championships and came home with silver medals on vault and beam.

Currently, Amanda trains 20 hours per week under coaches Ryan Kirkham and Jessica McDonough at Olympus Gymnastics. In the future, Amanda hopes to earn a gymnastics college scholarship.
