Allison "Allie" Gard was born on June 2, 2003 in Round Rock, TX to Ross and Julie Gard. She has a poodle named Teddy. Currently, Allie is an honor student at Cedar Ridge High School and she will graduate from high school in 2021. Allie has earned straight A's since kindergarten. When she has time outside of gymnastics, she takes dance and piano lessons and enjoys sewing and baking.

Allie was at a dance class and across the hall was a gymnastic class going on and Allie went and watched and wanted to join immediately. She joined that day and has been doing gymnastics ever since. Allie took recreational classes and pre-team at Capital Gymnastics in Cedar Park, TX for a few years before moving to Helotes, TX. That was when Allie started training at United Gymnastics under Paul and Amanda Rocha, where she trained with them for six years. As a level 6 gymnast in 2012, Allie finished in the top ten in the all-around and fourth on balance beam at the State Championships. Allie moved up to level 7 for the 2013 season, finishing fourth on vault and sixth on floor exercise.

In 2014 as a level 8 gymnast, Allie placed eighth on floor exercise and ninth on vault at the Region 3 Championships. She moved up to level 9 for the 2015 season where she placed seventh on vault at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, Allie placed sixth on vault with a 9.575. Allie continued competing level 9 in 2016. She placed first in the all-around with a 37.925, second on floor exercise and third on vault and balance beam at the State Championships. At the Region 3 Championships, Allie placed fifth in the all-around with a 37.550 and fifth on vault and floor exercise. She qualified to the Level 9 Western Nationals in Montana where she placed eighth in the all-around, sixth on vault, seventh on floor exercise and eighth on uneven bars. In November of 2016, Allie's family relocated back to Round Rock, TX, so Allie started training at Crenshaw Gymnastics Academy in Austin, TX.

As a first-year level 10 gymnast in 2017, Allie finished sixth in the all-around with a 36.625 and sixth on balance beam at the State Championships. She qualified to the Region 3 Championships. During her 2018 season, Allie had a great season and made it to JO Nationals.

Currently, Allie trains 21 hours per week at Crenshaw Gymnastics Academy in Austin, TX under coaches Adam Miller, Helen Miller and Sharon Bunch. Allie is working hard to qualify to obtain a Division I college gymnastics scholarship.
