Alexzandria (Ally) Albaugh got her start in gymnastics in recreational classes at the age of three after her parents caught her flipping off of her dresser and on to her bed at the age of two. After spending a couple of years in recreational classes, Ally was invited to join the team program at Coach Patty's School of Gymnastics at the age of five.

Ally began competing in the fall of 2016 as a level 3. At her first meet, the Out of This World Invitational, Ally came in second on bars and third on beam. Two months later at the SoCal North State Championships, Ally finished in the top 10 on bars.

Competing level 4 in 2017, Ally began her season at the SoCal North 1st Prelim. In October, Ally had her best meet of her season at the Olympic Dream Classic where she finished fifth on beam. Ally concluded her season six weeks later at the SoCal State Championships with a strong performance.

Following her 2017 level 4 season, Ally and her family moved to South Carolina and Ally began training at Rock Hill Gymnastics. Ally competed one meet as a level 4 during the spring 2018 season where she finished second on bars and third on vault, floor, and in the all around. Ally competed level 5 during the fall 2018 season and began her season at the South Carolina NAWGJ Judges Cup. Here, Ally won the beam title and came in fifth on floor and In the all around. Ally concluded her 2018 level 5 season at Crown of the Carolinas with a fourth place finish on beam and sixth place finish in the all around.

After her 2018 level 5 season, Ally began training at Next Level Gymnastics. As a level 6 in 2019, Ally began her season at the Palmetto Patriots Classic where she took fifth on beam. Following her 2019 level 6 season, Ally went back to Rock Hill Gymnastics. She began her 2019-2020 season as a level 7 at Crown of the Carolinas where she won the beam and all around titles and took third on bars. Ally won another all around title in January at the OZONE Invitational with additional first place finishes on vault and bars. After this meet, Ally was able to compete four more meets before the season was canceled due to COVID-19.

Ally competed a second season of level 7 during the 2020-2021 and opened up her season at Crown of the Carolinas with a first place finish on beam and second place finish in the all around. In March 2021, Ally scored her first 38.00 in the all around to win the all around title and won the bars and beam titles as well. Two weeks later at the South Carolina State Championships, Ally won the bars title with a 9.750 and came in second on beam and in the all around with scores of 9.700 and 38.025 respectively. From state, Ally qualified to the Region 8 Championships where she concluded her season with a solid competition.

As a level 8 during the 2021-2022 season, Ally began her season at Crown of the Carolinas. Here, Ally won the bars title and took second all around as well as third on vault.

Currently, Ally trains 20 hours per week under coach Chris Orr at Rock Hill Gymnastics. Ally's goal for her 2021-2022 season is to score a 38.00 in the all around. In the future, Ally hopes to earn a college scholarship for gymnastics.
