Adi Mounts got her start in gymnastics at the age of six in a recreational class that met once per week. After some time, Adi was invited to join the team program at North East Texas Elite Gymnastics. Adi competed her first season of gymnastics as a level 2 in 2017 and began her season at the Flower Power District Qualifier where she came in fifth on floor. Adi completed her season at the District Championships where she came in the top 10 beam.

Following her 2017 level 2 season, Adi began training at Texas Best Gymnastics. Adi competed TAAF Level 3 during the 2019 season. As a level 3, Adi came in fifth all around at the TAAF Texas State Championships.

Adi kicked off her optional career as a level 6 at the 2020 Alamo Classic. Here, Adi finished third on floor and sixth on vault. Adi was able to compete three more meets before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, at her last meet of the season, the Nadia Comaneci Invitational, Adi won the beam title with a 9.725 as well as the all around title.

Competing level 7 in 2021, Adi began her season at the Galveston Island Winter Beach Blast where she earned silver medals on vault and in the all around as well as third on bars and beam. Three months later at the Texas State Championships, Adi had a phenomenal meet, winning the floor title with a 9.800 as well as the vault title and came in second all around with a 38.675. Adi concluded her season three weeks later at the Region 3 Championships, where she came home with a bronze medal on floor.

During the Summer of 2021, Adi participated in TOPs Testing. From State Testing, Adi qualified to National Testing in Indianapolis, IN. Unfortunately, Adi got sick just prior to national testing and had to miss out.

Adi began her 2021-2022 level 8 season at the Empire Invitational. Here, Adi won the vault and all around titles as well as second place finishes on bars and floor. She then competed at Texas Prime placing top 10 in the all around. A few weeks later Adi won floor and earned a silver medal in the all around at the Alamo Classic.

Currently, Adi trains 25 hours per week under coaches Nica and Alex at Texas Best Gymnastics. In the future, Adi hopes to earn a college scholarship for gymnastics.
