Adelyn Tucker got her start in gymnastics at the age of six after she started out in dance, but preferred doing handstands rather than actual dancing. Adelyn loved being in the gym from the start and was soon invited to join the team program at St. Charles Gymnastics Academy.

Adelyn began competing in November 2017 as a level 3. At her first meet, the SCGA Classic, Adelyn finished in the top ten on beam. Adelyn had her best meet of her season at the King Arthur Invitational in January 2018 where she came in second on beam.

As a level 4 during the 2018-2019 season, Adelyn kicked off her season at the St. Nick Invite where she finished in the top ten on bars and beam. Adelyn continued to improve throughout the season and went on to finish in the top ten on vault, bars, and in the all around at the Illinois State Championships. Adelyn competed a second year of level 4 during the 2019-2020 season and began her season at the St. Nick Invite. Here, Adelyn came home with third place finishes on bars and in the all around. At her next meet, the St. Jude Benefit Meet, Adelyn won the beam title and placed third all around. In March at the Illinois State Championships, Adelyn earned a bronze medal on beam with a 9.750 and fifth in the all around.

Adelyn began her optional career in January 2021 as a level 6 at the King Arthur Invitational. Here, Adelyn won the beam title and finished third in the all around. Throughout the remainder of the season, Adelyn finished in the top three on beam at each meet. In April at the Illinois State Championships, Adelyn came home as the on beam to conclude her season.

Following her 2021 level 6 season, Adelyn began training at Midwest Elite Gymnastics. Adelyn kicked off her 2021-2022 level 7 season at Flipstar's Home for the Holidays Meet where she won the beam title and finished second in the all around. She then competed at the Bravo Classic where she won bars.

Currently, Adelyn trains 16 hours per week under coaches Roger and Kristen at Midwest Elite Gymnastics. Adelyn's goal for her 2022 season is to qualify to the Region 5 Championships. In the future, Adelyn hopes to compete level 10.
